Derrick, I'm glad you put the news from Reid Sandros' Twitter account. That was something that I hadn't read on Pixar Planet, Pixar Blog, Pixar Talk, or anywhere else in the past couple days. It was definitely exciting news. As for what his job is at Pixar, I found his facebook page via Google, and it says he is a rendering technical director. Just found this post, thanks to a friend who apparently also stalks me.
I’m actually a rendering TD in 3D, and have credits in TS and TS2 (3D re-releases), TS3, Cars2 and also the upcoming Nemo and Monsters re-releases in 3D, this time as Rendering Lead. But you will have to wait until the very end of the Nemo 3D credits to see my name.
